Silverstone PCGB championship race on TV

No doubt about it Mark, the action from your car was some of the most dramatic of the weekend.

I especially also like your old school way of handling the wheel.

I did notice he had taken off his suede stringbacked gloves just because the camera was there [:D]

I did actually mean old school in a good way [;)], It was all great to see anyway and pretty gutted that I didn't enter, looked like a fantastic weekends worth of racing.

Probably. Just waiting to see what the race calendars are next year. I got the Goldtrack e-mail the other day and they have Donny and Silverstone GP early in the year both of which I will pencil in. Is the Bedford day race car friendly? I may have alternative road car Pork to use but I am keeping my powder dry on that one for now, would shock a few ppl (or maybe not) [:D]

The wait for the regs is killing me as well, if they drop the weight loads on the S2 for example it will need loads of work doing to it, if they keep it where it is I am probably OK to not bother until the extra few kilos off are needed to be more competitive.

I don't think Javelin have an issue with race cars as long as they meet the noise limits and abide by the same rules as everyone else, no timing is allowed though apparently.

no timing is allowed though apparently.

Edd

Easy way round that is just run a video camera and check off the times for the best laps using the frame times in whichever video editing software you use when you get back home, you can also then splice together the best sections to get a theoretical best lap and thus removing the crazyness of chasing clean laps on a track day. For me the main thing with the no timing rule is that if people can time themselves live or get live/semi-live updates you tend to push harder and harder to chase fast times.

Just managed to see the programme, great racing Mark, and well done to all the others involved.

Loved Pete's interviews!
