Side repeater lense

any tips on replacing these - is there a knack to getting them out?
planning on doing this over the weekend, replacing with clear ones.
seem to remember seeing a thread or two, but can't find them thru "search"...
 
They just pop out IIRC. I think you push them towards the front of the car then they lever out. I replaced mine a year or so ago. Make sure you don't let the wire with the bulb on back inside the wing, its sometimes a pain to get back. I hooked it onto the hole to stop it disappearing.
 
As above, slide forward and lever out.

Oddly, I replaced my clear ones with amber originals (I'm a bit of an originality freak). I was amazed how much grime had managed to amass beneath them. Needless to say it was all cleaned out then the wing was clayed, polished, and waxed without the repeaters in situ.
 
thanks guys - swapping my original amber for clear on indicators and repeaters, BUT am keeping the originals!
