shades of white

As far as I am aware, Porsche offered three white paints during the late 1980's - Glacier white, Alpine white and Grand Prix white. Does anybody know which is the brightest white and which is the dullest (most cream)? My car is currently wearing its original Alpine white paint, but may be having a re-spray and I'm keen to have the brightest of the original white options.

Agreed: a base white - whiter than a very white thing. Its easy to match though and its easily available still as a two pack.

IMHO when white is that white it will burn yer eyes. Sounds like a great idea to be pure white but most whites are not pure white for a reason.

BTW if you can afford it metallic white is awesomely nice. There was an old 911 turbo at one of the shows a few years back that had this metallic white, it just sparkled in the sun so nicely.
