Setting up sunroof

New member
I have just replaced both stripped sunroof gears and to set the rear levers I installed them in the lower positions before putting the covers on.
I now find that the roof raises up and down fine,but if I use the release switch nothing happens.If I lower the roof I have to stop as the roof is closes down otherwise the rear roof catches go too far,releasing the roof panel.
Is this something that I have to live with or have I done something wrong?[8|]
