Servicing the brakes

Will be doing my son's Macan brakes in a few weeks time replacing both front and rear pads/discs so these "how to" guides will be extremely useful.

can anyone confirm that there is only ONE wear sensor or TWO sensors for the rear brakes ?

My son bought all the parts for ECP and the rear pad set only came with one sensor lead whereas he had to buy the front sensors separately for the front pads.
Design 911 website state two are required per axle.

Hi all just to add ,I have a 2018 2.0L petrol and the front calliper are held on with normal 21mm Bolts so no need for a 14mm (Triple Square bit Socket) as Snap-On call them
When putting back on ideally use new bolts and Torque them to 145ft-lbs
The job is so easy
Make sure you have a very thin punch to pop out the steel pad locating pins and have a bit of emery cloth and brake cleaner to clean the crud off these.

Just did a full Disc and pad change of the front and it took me less than 2 hrs easy .
I bought full Brembo Kit inc Discs,Pads and new wear sensors for from design 911 for £200
Porsche wanted £700 inc parts & Labour
