Hi, Have my new 997 C2 since jan, have added some oil once, have about 5,000 miles on it. Do I not have to do anything at all to it till 20,000 miles with regards to servicing? Seems almost too easy.

I've had my 997 C2S for two years and six months (54). Apart from putting a litre of oil in it during its first few months and its first service at two years, it has only had two extra litres of oil in over 21500 miles and a Track Day at Brands.

Over that time it hasn't missed a beat![:D]

 
I changed my oil and filter at 1800 miles - bought up in the days when this was normal practice and just felt more comfortable doing it - guess it can't do any harm.
