I get the gts next week, I not the transmission hasnt been changed. car is 6 years old. What should I make sure the OPC does in service before handover? See attached pics of current service status, seems to have had an extra one. any I advice appreciated.

Buying privately or from a dealer?

If dealer, no harm in asking for them to complete or pay for it (if the car is described a FPSH) but i suspect they will decline as you've already made the deal

Good luck!

Hi Greenman

I haven't collected the car from the OPC yet and they had stated major will be carried out before collection. But the major was done in january so it looks to me that it only needs a transmission fluid change? As i have it in email i think i would be totally in my rights to request the major to be completed with the transmission fluid.

Apparantly it is 12 years for all cars except Gt cars for the transmission fluid. as the Gts isn’t a full blow gt car it must be correct.

Ive a 991.2S. Just had the 8 yr service and noticed the Drive Belt has been checked each service, but no change of the belt since new - although only 23,000 miles!! Wonder if you saw the same on your book? Difficult to find a schedule anywhere for when they should do items on that checklist
