Service recommendations

Hi I've been a member for a while, but this is my first post. Can anyone out there recommend someone reliable to service my 1969 911 T?
Many thanks in advance Tim

Depending where you are I always take mine to Northway on the A4 just south of Porsche Reading. Fixed price servicing and VERY good.

Another vote for Northway - you need to book well ahead, but infinitely more detailed knowledge of Porsche models than OPC. They fix cars and don’t just replace modules/parts for the sake of it.

I'm new to Porsche ownership this year and took mine to Autofarm near Bicester for a look over and first service, as I was aware of them purely from being into cars my whole life. I was extremely impressed, so much so I won't be going anywhere else. I'd highly recommend them. The standout for me was how everything was so open. I worked there for the day in their kitchen/office whilst my car was in, and the mechanic came and chatted a few times, took me around under the car, discussed possible future work, etc. I really don't like it when my car disappears and then magically re-appears later, and coming from a motorsport background, and one of doing a lot of work myself, I'm used to being involved and seeing the work being done. They also didn't dictate to me what needed to be done and what didn't - a lot of places like to call the shots, but Autofarm just told it all to me straight and then left it to me to decide what I wanted to do, which I like. I'm quite fussy, especially with how my cars drive, and they got that completely.

All good places mentioned here. Another vote for Jaz of St Albans, run by Steve Winter and Claire Winter who have conducted all my servicing requirements over the last 15 years.

The great thing about all these places mentioned here is the specialist knowledge they have. By comparison, I recently enquired at an OPC about potentially changing my exhaust on a 996 GT3. They responded that their technicians are not trained on older cars, and if they encounter a problem, it could be very problematic....

Don't know if they deal with older models but we have our 996.2 serviced by Sid at Porsche Torque in Uxbridge and have always been really happy with the cost and level of service.
