Service booklet?

ORIGINAL: appletonn
BTW, I really do love the S2, but don't tell Oli that, whatever you do!
Oh dear, shot your own fox there Nick. []

Another round to me. What does that do to the score - 3-0 or is it 4-0 now?

See you on the next "S2 vs. 951" thread ... place your bets now folks on who will win that one! [:)]

Hi,
You can get a new service book should you want one from Mathew at Type911 for around 22GBP +VAT.[:D]
Invoices just as good provided you can tie them up with dates and the car, seen some dodgy service histories before, once the same history on 2 cars!

HEHE, looks like my post turned into a gladiators arena-style slanging match. Got a service booklet on its way from Porsche 16 GBP + VAT, very reasonable. Went to pick the car up from mechanic who said he had serviced it but HADN'T SORTED THE OIL LEAK because it's coming from somewhere buried deep within and is going to be tricky (expensive) to get to. He estimated around 2-300 quid. The car is driving much better thanks to the service but still leaking and now he cant book it in for a couple of weeks!!!!! He said he can do the clutch for £500 plus the rear brakes need attention real soon. Anyway he has cleaned the tray underneath the engine which was full of oil as a result of the leak so should help a bit for now. Thanks for posts, evn the slightly aggressive guy [;)]

... even the slightly aggressive guy [;)]
Ooooh, was that me? Was it me? Please tell me it was me! I love being aggressive! >GrowlsLoudlyAtTheCat< []

£500 is a good price for the clutch. That will be excluding parts, I'm guessing? Parts alone are nearly that much ...
