Supercar Sunday at Mitton Hall Hotel on 2nd August was fully packed as usual and you needed to arrive there by 8.15 at the very latest to get on the car park. Events here are not on a regular date, so watch out for Mailchimp newsletters with details of the next one. Sport and Supercars were dominant attendees.

The Cars & Coffee at the Mill, St Catherines Hospice on 9th August was as usual packed with sports, classic and supercars.

We held a joint Concours event with R22 at Porsche Centre South Lakes on 15th August as we didn’t have sufficient entries for our own Concours earlier at Porsche Centre Preston. A full report with be in R22 report.



August Monthly meeting – Many members regularly attend the Wrea Green Car Club meetings at The Villa Wrea Green on the 4th Sunday of the month. On 19th August, our normal Monthly meeting night they were holding a BBQ at The Villa and invited R18 along. There was an excellent turnout of Porsche’s and we met some prospective new members.

– Magic Motorfest Sports & Classic Car Show– Farnworth Cricket Club Details in Mailchimp

1st October – Closing date for entries to the R18 Photographic Competition

14th October – Monthly Meeting – (PROV) Sean Conboy will be talking about the photographs members took at our July meeting and how they could have been improved or otherwise for the R18 Calendar.
