More information, as will appear in the March issue of Porsche Post:

Sunday 1st June: Secret Hills Tour, a non-competitive navigational tour around the beautiful Shropshire and Powys countryside, using a tulip road book.

The start will be in Bridgnorth, with bacon butties etc. available. After a coffee stop at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms, the route will continue to Mellington Hall, Church Stoke, for a lunch stop. After lunch the tour route will take us via more beautiful countryside to the finish at Affcot Lodge near Church Stretton, where more refreshments will be available.

The tour will cover approximately 120 miles and is limited to 12 cars, so please contact Steve or Phil urgently if you wish to take part.

Pat Henson is organising this one, and has put in a lot of preparation to make it a really good day out.

We may have one or two extra places available, so if you are interested please register via this forum URGENTLY

Just to add, since we have gone down the route of obtaining a MSA licence, it means we can now have more members attend the event, but please advise by Mid May ( lets say by Porsche on the Prom ), it should be a good day out with like minded people driving on some superb roads through stunning country side and there will even be a few Porsche prizes on the day.

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your kind words and the weather was the icing on the cake. The work that went into organising today was more than rewarded by the look of enjoyment on all of the entrants at each of the stopping points. In my opinion this what owning a Porsche is all about.

Regards

Patrick

This was our first Porsche Club run - It was great - Thanks for all the hard work I know how much hard work it takes

AS a few of the member know my wife has had a very difficult few years with a lot of serious brain surgery over 3 years.

We have really been stuck in a rut for 5 years but with this run it has given us the confidence to get out and about again

AS ex member of the quattro Owners Club we are used to hard fast and long distance fast motoring and have seriously missed this part of our lives

Thanks Patrick for another stage in our Recovery

THANKS PORSCHE FOR A WONDERFUL CAR THAT DEANA CAN ENJOY DRIVING.

Steve, forgot to ask you about the photos you took on the secret hills tour, especially around Mellington hall.
