Scottish 944 meet

Can someone pm me the postcode as I am still hoping to be there - with my better half if girls are allowed ?

See you there then. I posted that question as you were posting.

FK4 2AG Bonnyside Road, all the way to top of road then right where it becomes single track then left and you should see lots of 944's.

Still cannot do it, paste in the centre of the (image) prompt, but never works , Oh Well.

Dont bring bacon!!! I picked up a 2.5 kg catering pack today from work. So if some one can bring aroud 20 rolls I'll have enough bacon to fill them.

Weather not looking too good so the Turbo will be left in the hanger, Myself, Mike Moore (Turbo SE) and Steve (87 Lux) will be in my Passat, gas stove packed see you all 10.30-11.00 have the kettle on.

Almost wished I lived up North until I saw the weather forecast. I'd love to be there but we've got the neighbours in for a barbeque!

I'll shut up now. [:D]

We'll be doing a BBQ of some sorts - huddled round the stove to keep warm!

Weather just right in Fort William today - nice and warm and dry (although not much sun) - saw a stunning yellow 944 on the bypass.

It is not going to be cold just a possibility of rain, will have my shorts on, really humid in Cumbria tonight, it has been warm all day but overcast, had some lovely sunshine during the week though.

BUPA Edinburgh run on here - my car in a council garage in the middle of the road closures - not resident there so can't get near it. Hopefully next time. Gutted.

Well gents, twas an excellent turnout. The weather was pretty crap this morning as it tipped down until about 3pm. Lots of tea and coffee on the go and also hot rolls. The TIPEC gazebo kept the rain off everyone so that was much appreciated. A full set of Spax shock were fitted to Steves car so he will report back on how it's going. The fronts were certainly rather bouncy! I was certainly kept busy all day so off for dinner now and a large glass of wine or 3 as I am on a day off tomorrow!
I am sure pics will follow!
I am thinking of doing a belt change next time for people to see how it is done if there are any takers for a day learning how to do that. Maybe program it in for the start of next month, I will check my diary and see what my shifts are like and advise a date.
Alasdair

Lots of thanks to you for hosting the event and helping so many people. Also, well done to those who made a real effort to get there with a long journey.

I'm certainly up for a watch and learn on a belts job.... and could recommend a car for it too! (Parked at your garage already as well!) [;)]
