Scottish 944 meet

I am away on honeymoon as of Saturday so anything after 30th of August would be good. Will see what dates I am about after that,
Alasdair

I will be at 50th Anniversary Event 2nd to 4th Sept. so how about weekend after so long as that's not holiday weekend.

Alan.

How about Saturday 10th or Sunday 11th September?

Any suggestions for a meeting point and possible short run? We have previously met at Alasdairs workshop though he has not offered as yet so any ideas?

Alan.

Anyone else up for this meet-up?

Usually very laid back, 944 chat, advice and general banter.

Still open to location suggestions, but Saturday10th or possibly 11th looking good.

It would be good to get as many 944's together before some get tucked away for Winter, and possibly head out for short run.

Alan.

I am, as always, up for a "meet" but this particular weekend isn't a good one for me.

As an aside, I have suggested to Alasdair it may be a good idea to organise a meet around a "tea & learn" session. For example, meet at Al's and watch / assist with a belts & rollers change. Alasdair wasn't averse to the idea so something like this may happen although maybe not soon.

Would be up for this. Let's hope it's a nice day and I can get the car out without worrying about the leaky roof and boot! Also now leaking fluid from the clutch area but will hopefully have cured it with a new slave cylinder by then.

Stuart.

Definitely can't make that weekend guys then on holiday the week after, maybe Sunday 25th Sep or Sun 2nd Oct?

Stuart

OK Guys, a couple of our regular attendees can't make the suggested weekend. Sun. 25th (please note sept. weekend) and Sun. 2nd October have been put forward. I have considered an evening meet - what do you think.

These Dates suit me, but am trying to accomodate as many as we can for a good turnout.

Post up what suits you, and state where you live so we can work out a location to suit most people.

Thanks, Alan.

P.s. not solely restricted to 944's other frontengine cars welcome.

Nearer Glasgow the better but central belt would be good to accommodate the non Glaswegian element!

Stuart

Nearer Edinburgh the better but central belt would be good to accommodate the Glaswegian element! [:D]

I will likely make an appearance in a turbo charged version!

nothing planned for any of suggested weekends (yet)... would be nice to firm up a date. i guess whatever the weekend someones going to miss out. no putting my car away for the winter unless i build a garage :(

most locations welcome any excuse to stretch its legs ;)

Would like to see Alasdairs place (And have a ratch about !) would really need to be a weekend and would bring my lovely black Turbo S, when is Alasdair back ?
Mike Moore may come along also uber minty white Turbo SE (Probably one of the best left in the UK)

Alasdair's back 30th August, will have to see what suits him and if he's happy to have us all along. Dates that seem to suit are Sunday 25th September and 2nd October, but we'll need to see what suits Alasdair if we're meeting there.

Alan.

Hi all, am back in the land of the living. I am off Sunday 25th and also the 2nd. The 2nd is probably best for me as I am working at 3am on Monday the 26th.
Alasdair
