SC Register - HELP with Windscreen stickers

Since taking over the Register late last I have was not given any windscreen stickers to hand out to new Register members. I no longer have my sticker and Club Office have no record of the original picture used to get them made. (My predecessor Darren may have done them privately, but I am not sure).
It would be really helpful, and save lots of time, if a Register member could send me a high quality scanned copy by email so I can get more made.
Thanks in anticipation!!

Hi Peter,

On the main porsche site within the 911 sc register news section is an image of the sc register sticker,
however it is quite low resolution, and even if someone scans their sticker in the quality when printed will be quite poor (I am a Graphic Designer - so I deal with things like this all the time)

If you can get a reasonable sized scan or an actual sticker and get it to me I would be happy to re-create it for print so that all us SC owners can have a perfect register sticker.

Please let me know if you want any more info.

Cheers Dan.

I was wondering if these were available. Great idea to get some done - I would love a couple when they are made!

Bones,

I cannot put the url on here, you need to be logged in with your username and password and the url in the browser remains constant (www.porscheclubgb.com/frame.html) so instead I have attached the logo to this reply.

Cheers Dan.

Ah confusion reigns , when you said '....the main Porsche site..' I thought you meant Porsche AG!?*** I want one when they are done, get to work Dan you can do that in 5 mins....lol

Ah yes I can see the confusion I have caused with 'main porsche site'
Im not sure I could cope with yet another ' 5 minute job' though!

If anyone could send me the Porsche font for a Mac I could do it in Photoshop pretty quick

Re-creating the artwork will be quite easy to do, I was only making reference to '5 mins' as this is how long most people think eveything takes, not that I cannot do it. [:D]

Creating the sticker in photoshop would be okay, but it would give a better quality finished print if created in a vector based program (such as adobe illustrator) especially if they grey colour on the image I placed on the post is actually supposed to be silver, which would look better.

Only jesting about how long it takes I know 'most people' do think jobs take only five minutes and want them for nothing also I'd probably do it in Fireworks which is Vector based. This font is available on the web but I've never seen it formatted for a Mac which would be useful for me.

I knew there would be someone out there who could help out one way or another. A good quality scan would be just the job. Thanks again fellas - look forward to getting something soon.
Once they are done then I will get them out. I'll keep you posted (no pun really).
Cheers,
,

I've still got my SC sticker as I haven't got round to sticking it on my windscreen. If you like I can send it to you so that you are able to produce copies for other members who missed out.

Dear All

Thanks for the great response.

My predecessor Darren has emailed me to say that he has found the Register stickers and as soon as he sends them out to me I will distribute them to those members who have joined the Register since I took over. Hopefully the problem is solved.

Thanks to all of you who have offered help, especially Daniel Engledow who actually sent me a super .jpeg of the sticker that he made up in rapid response! Emma, I will return your sticker when it arrives - much appreciated.

Regards to you all,

Peter

As the stickers have been found I won't send you my one. Will go and stick it on my windscreen before I loose it.

Emma-Jane

Just to keep you all up to date - I am still waiting for the stickers to come from Darren. As soon as I get them I will distribute then to those who have sent their details to the Register.
Fingers crossed they will arrive soon.
Cheers,
