As the title implies we were thinking of organising an impromptu run out for PCGB Members only on Saturday 5th August to Lowther Castle, Gardens and Tea Room.

The route will include Sedburgh, Kendal, and Alston with a mileage of approx. 142 miles with opportunities to stop along the way.

To gauge the level of interest can you please respond to this post, the exact route will be determined in the near future with directions provided the day before the drive.

Thanks for reading and Drive Safe.

Hello Mike,

Saturday 5th Aug is a busy day for me but I could do Sunday 6th Aug if others are also tied up with stuff that day. So subject to the responses you get back let's hope we'll not need a Brolly for which ever day it is :). I've hd enough f this rain...

cheers

John

Unfortunately I am busy on Sunday 6th August, hence suggesting Saturday the 5th August.

Regards

Mike, Barbara and TJ

Hi Mike, Barbara and TJ,

Count me in but I must be home by 4.00pm as I am out on the night

Gary (either Michelle or Emma)

No problem we should be back before 4:00pm and there are opportunities to cut short if we are behind time.

Regards

Mike & Barbara

Hi Mike & Barbara

Gillian and I will join you provided the weather is dry. This sounds a bit wimpy, because it is. However, it's been a bit biblical of late!

Fingers crossed the sun returns to the North East [:)]

Drive safe

John

Im in too again as previous posters, if its relatively dry. RWD and many ponies is not fun going sidesways.....

Is there a whatsapp group for members? I tend not to check this site too often.

Could be worse, RWD, many ponies and no traction control!

Hi Mike,

Currently I'm available and looking forward to my first outing with you all !!.

Never been there, so it's a nice excuse to get the toys out :ROFLMAO:

We're already in Penrith so drop us a whatsapp when you're close and we should be able to join you :)

Dear Mike & Barbara,

Thanks for the invitation. As others have said already, if the weather holds out you can count me in.

Kind regards, Ben

With reference to the above it was my intention to send the directions through the private message system, unfortunately I cannot fathom how to attach a pdf file and so will bring the directions for all responders to the post on Saturday morning.

We will meet at the A68 cafe on the A68 at Toft Hill at 09:30 with the intention of setting off before 10:00am, we will be in the white Macan.

The route from the Cafe and back to the Cafe is approx. 144 miles but feel free to peel off at any point to head home.

Looking forward to Saturday despite the weather forecast

Regards

Mike, Barbara & TJ

Morning Mike & Barbara,

Given the weather and my lack of ABS and traction control i'm reluctantly going to give today's drive a miss. Hope those that do make it have a great day.
