SAR classics

Hi All,

Further to Joss's posts about his ongoing problems with a body repair, I've been asked to clarify things.

Simon runs the e-bay parts business seperately from Alan's bodywork service. There is no issue with this business, Simon's always been an enthusiast within the 944 community so please don't let an issue with the bodyshop affect the unrelated parts sales service. [:)]

Thanks Paul,

I was going to put up a post to confirm this. I knew that SAR had a good name and that swayed me to use the body shop, Alan definitely played on this reputation and misled me to believe that he and Simon were still linked. However I did not have any dealings with Simon, all my contact and payments were solely to Alan and I am confident that Simon had nothing to do with my poor treatment.

Much as I wanted to blow the whistle on Alan at Countryside Classics, I hope this unfortunate experience has no detrimental effect on SAR

Thanks, Joss.

I was surprised that SAR were brought up as having caused problems. Simon's been very open to me and I'm sure there's no issue there.

Countryside Classics share a building, but they are seperate businesses as I understand.

Simon at SAR has been really helpful to me in the past, too. Always happy to chat and share his expertise without worries about whether I was actually spending any money with him.

another +1 for Simon at SAR. A genuine, honest and decent supplier who had one of the lightest 944 track cars I've ever seen.

Mainly because he kept taking a hole cutter to any piece of it that he could drill a pilot hole into :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Shame he's now sold it [&o]

I've dealt with Simon a couple of times and found him very straightforward and correct.

His 944 was VERY light........
