Well after 22 years and over 150,000 miles with us our S2 is no more []
Sunday night she caught fire in the engine bay and now has a very burnt front end, it's taken me 5 days to be able to post about it. ClassicLine have take her away to a salvage yard for inspection, but what I could see of the remains on the roadside in the dark, I doubt very much they will be putting her back on the road for me. Totally gutted here, after so many years and so much hard work keeping her in tiptop condition whilst getting regular use, all to no avail in the end.
If anyone needs a good engine (albeit very black on the outside just now) she was only rebuilt by EMC 6000 miles ago in 2018, I'll find out which yard she is in.
