Howdy all,

i bought some s2 seats awhile back thats fully automatic. no manual slide lever. How do i move the sliders so i can put the bolts in?

Cheers

Surely theyd be clear, as they need to be in order to remove the seats in the first place?

More helpfully: a hotwire to the connector plug will be your best bet.

Remove the old seat from your car & place the new one in, connect the power wires & use the electrics expose the holes.

I cant sleep..... Below is a quote from an '87 model year owners manual:

"...Emergency Adjustment
In the event of a failure of the electrically operated seat adjuster, fore-and-aft adjustment of the seat can be obtained using the Allan key contained in the tool kit. The seat is adjusted by turning the servo motor located at the front on the seat using the Allan key..."

I presume that they mean an allen key...
