Anybody got a head for an S2 lying around.I ve just managed to knock the corner off the lug that goes over the water inlet at the front of the head.I am going to try alloy welding but if I could find a head cheep enough I would prefer that option.I don't need cams or valves etc just a head.

Oli.ORIGINAL: bazhart We are having to dispose of all our 944/968 spares to make room for newer model parts and have several heeads.Phone Daniel 01204 302809 any reasonable offer considered. Baz
Definitely! Would it be worth you putting a bit of a breakdown in the spares section? I'd b very interested to see what you've got going.ORIGINAL: zcacogpReally? Interesting. Have you tried Alasdair (SulzerUK on here). He usually has spares, and always at good prices. Or there is a chap called Elliott, who pops up occasionally. £250 for an untested head without guarantee sounds high. Having said that, I'd be surprised if Baz wouldn't take a duff part back. Oli.
Alistair was the first person I phoned. He hasn't got an S2 head.I will pm elliot.I spoke to one of baz's guys and not baz himself maybe if I had I would have got a different answer.Still going to look about. It's only the corner off of the tab over the water jacket at the front of the engine.I ahve seen a couple of big engine turbo conversions where they cut this part off of anS2 head and weld it onto an 8 valve turbo head. so I recon it will be ok to weld it.I just wanted a spare in case it doesn't work.
