S2 at Buchanan

Yet another S2 at Buchanan Motors, looks very nice, photographed beautifully as always. Unusually not described as "Time Warp". Felt the description of a lozenge wheel as "bus style" was a bit harsh. Also note they quote 5 year interval for belts.

Shame, in so many ways. Buchanan may sometime sell a genuinely nice 944, but the fact that it's being sold by them means no-one will ever take it seriously.

Good thing they are so far away from heavy centres of population. They could actually be dangerous otherwise.

Full of spelling mistakes and poor grammar. Also let down by telling 'common' syntax. If he paid two thousand pounds for any Id be surprised - the wally is a parasite.

My nephew once ate a tube of glitter as a toddler, the subsequent turd was like a disco ball.

i would really like to know where and how he keeps getting these s2s and turbos?..as i understand,,he is based up near loch lomond,,must be a helluva lot of 944s up in scotland,,,always good for a laugh though maybe not so funny if you bought one of his many "minters" but his sales pitches do make me laugh,,,do people really believe his rubbish?
his 5yrs for cambelt changes,,
i bet his cars are due belts etc but tells buyers 5yr intervals so avoids the belts, rollers, and water pump ,himself and convinces buyers that nothing needs to be spent for the first 12months,,,adding to the myth that porsches are cheap cars to run etc,,jason p

Remember the Rubystone S2 Cab? That was a rusty shed spammed up, which he admitted in his ridiculous 'dont buy this' PH ad a few weeks ago. What a tool.

This thread made me look at the Buchanan web site. With no prior knowledge at all I thought the pics looked good so if their cars are turds, we need to find out the make of polish! Looking at this turbo I fell in love with the colour scheme - white paint and BRIGHT red seats... yumm... just me?

No, that looks amazing...yet another timewarp...Dr Who does less timewarping than his stock. Hats off to him, cars always look fantastic and he takes the best pics of any dealer I've seen and his write ups are very long so probably unrealistic to expect him to start from scratch with every description of similar cars. I'm not entirely sure what the precise criticism of him is, other than he buys low, sells high and some of his 944s are allegedly not as good under the surface as they appear...but then he's not a porsche specialist so is that criticism unfair, caveat emptor and all that....i'm waiting to be shot down in flames.

edit....not sure I like the "bus style" steering wheel though....although he doesn't mention that.

I'm, slightly worried that you are admitting to closely inspecting a toddler's turds.

Is there something we need to know? [&:]

It didn't need "inspecting", my sister in law came running in the room and loudly exclaimed "you've got to see this!"
