Rust free passenger front wing

Anybody need a passenger side front wing, or more specifically the bottom part because theirs has rusted away? It's currently painted LY9Z metallic Panther Black

I have a spare wing that was bought new from Porsche in February 2011 and fitted to my car as part of it's respray. Unfortunately it was hit by a skip lorry a few weeks ago so now has a large dent towards the front of the wheel arch. As you'd expect after a year there is no rot or rust anywhere so would be suitable as a donor to make a very good repair panel for the usual rusty area under the stonechip paint. If you know a good old fashioned panel beater they may be able salvage the whole wing enough to be filled and painted.

I'm looking for £75 collected from Northampton or will meet up to 50 miles radius, or I can arrange a two day courier at £100 all in.

Nice, but I hope that youve properly sealed the new one. All the weight is in the sealer, but its this which makes them as durable as they are. Ive seen a new wing fitted and it was suffering from surface corrosion within two years and it was spoiled infour.

That wasnt great when Porsche only charged £238 for a wing (either side!), but itd be sickening for an owner now, Im sure.

The design itself doesn't do us any favours either. I took the picture below as I was removing the dented wing and you can see the dirt trap in the alcove behind the stoneguard paint. That lump of crud is after only 1 year and 5000 miles, multiply that by 20 and you can see why the wings rust through at that point []. Everyone should get into the habit of removing the plastic wheel arch liner and bowing that crud out once a year

I've now listed this on Ebay or it goes in the skip at the weekend

If I had it to spare I'd bite your hand off Paul as that lower wing section is the only part of my car that I haven't taken care off and it is starting to bubble, alas money is very tight just now and what I do have is going on getting the car back on the road, bad timing and all that...lol

I would bite your hand off if it was the driver side wing. Maybe you could park the other way around next time the skip lorry is about [:D]

If you actually throw it away, can I have it? The 'buy it or I weigh it in' sales pitch is flawed... [:D]

No, but I'll happily post a Youtube video of a super shiny S2 wing being dumped into the skip for you

Paul, at least cut the bottom section off and keeping it before dumping it................please !

+1 [&:]

I guess the whole wing is going to be expensive to post, but the all-important section would be much easier to package up. I certainly need a lower section. [&o]

Don't worry it won't be dumped after all. There are 5 bidders currently bidding for it so even if the winner doesn't pay up there will be others it can go to [:)]
