Running Lumpy When Cold

I've noticed that with the onset of the cold weather the Cayman feels a bit lumpy on tick over when cold. When I first set off I get a bit of hesitation when applying the throttle - then the car clears it's self and all is well - it reminds me of when cars used to foul their plugs if running too rich.

Are any of you experiencing a similar characteristic or is it OPC time ?
