Run out to Sally's Warwick Bridge Thursday 12th March.

Glad you could make it Trevor. second half was up to Howick for another coffee then back via Kielder. Now have a well earned pint 🍺 in the Blackbird. Not bad for midweek 8 cars 👍

Pint in the Blackbird; I didn't know we were finishing there 😜. So that's why you disappeared! We (Randall and us) had a brilliant run back from Kielder. Traffic split us from Mike and company and traffic split us again on the twisties.

190+ miles and 4hr 20min driving was a great test of our new 981 even with the rain and just what I was hoping for - brilliant. Thanks Mike.

Great company and craic at Sally's and Morrison's (Howick) as well as enjoyable, fulfilling and most of all, safe driving.

I've been impressed with our new Porsche, the pdk box and already have one or two little moments of joy logged away in the memory banks I'm sure we all collect when out in our cars.

Looking forward to doing it again - magic Mike👍

Well done for organising Mike.....I'm definitely up for some more daytime and evening runs in the lighter nights and hopefully good weather...Last years after work run to Sally's and drinking coffee in the warm evening daylight at 9.45pm was immense....

I think we hit a good format for an impromptu drive out today. Driving to the planned destination then involving the group as where we go from here depending on how much time members have available for the day.👍

Well done Mike for the run out, it was a good format to discuss where to go en route, great drive to Sally’s for food and drinks before heading up to Hawick for more coffee and a great drive back via Kielder. We had sun, rain and snow and some great driving roads( I missed the part to stop at the Blackbird)!! All home after 200 miles

Cheers Keith and adding another layer to the cake. Those heading in thesame direction have a debriefing at the local hostilely. 👍

Just to finish off. We would have all been lost without the satnav skills of Steph on the way back due to the bridge and road closures on the way home. 👍

Sounds like a cracking run. Sadly I had a less enjoyable jourm today - 320 miles to Manchester and back in my co. Passat, else is have tak the day off and joined the fun.

Like Randall has commented, I’ve also had an email confirming the Taycan launch evening at Newcastle is cancelled.

Cracking run out, great company and some of the best scones in the North.

FYI, just got a note from the Newcastle OPC. Their Taycan launch event on 3rd April is off.

We had an invite to Belfast Porsche Centre (where we bought our 718) for their launch event on 25th March and today got an email confirming it too had been cancelled.

Hi guys. Thanks for your company today and to Mike for organising a great drive. As usual I fell behind but managed to make it to Hawick, had a quick look around but couldn’t find you all. Still it was a good day out.

Thanks for organising Mike - shame I had to shoot off, sounded like a good afternoon.

Hope Trevor, Paul and Steph’s lungs have all recovered from being behind me - forgot my laptop to adjust the fuelling as it was running 10% too rich :ROFLMAO:

Sorry you missed us in Hawick Stephen, duly noted .Morrisons was an inpromptu stop and regroup as to where we go from here due to road closures etc. Some fine tuning required perhaps using the share function of Waze and exchanging telephone numbers. Traffic will inadvertantly split the group more so as we go forward to the tourist season.
