ROAD WORKS

Last time I was down in Sussex, there were road works everywhere. So I look forward to my next visit as I expect there to be no pot holes, ruts or ridges to jolt me on my way to Bexhill or Crowborough.[;)]

Well, I can dream!

At last - A chance to use my Moderators Powers! Mark

Oh dear Helen you seem have made our moderator stir!!

The roads are as bumpy and rutted as always but good fun nonetheless.

Mark - how was Spa?

see i told you the roads are rough look what it' s done to your car!!![:D][:D][:D]

worst road..between Battle and Bexhill, though i think Kent would have to take the award for the very worst roads.

7 mile lane between A20/A25 Wrotham (pronounced Rootum) and East Peckham. Has SMOOTH surface, long straights, sweeping bends, tight slow corners, roller coaster dips and elevation. Only down side is that on a clear dry summers day the Fireblades are out in force as well. Manage to keep up with them in the GT3, can easily outbraking and out cornering them. Makes for fun when tail end charlie in a group of bikers takes a cursory glance over his shoulder to find my GT3 right up his chuff! They are working hard and sweating buckets whislt we travel in air conditioned comfort listening to Frank Ifields greatest hits (I borrowed the CD from Stig...honest).

That' s no problem Nick -at least you' ve got a spare engine in the back..........

Which I hope you had swapped to the front before you towed it!!
