Hi
I’m sure this has come up many times but if anyone could point me in the right direction in the forum I would appreciate

Cheers - i recognise your user name - I’m on DDK as well and although a fantastic site it’s not the greatest for searching - if you know where it lurks then please let me know

Yes, it is not its strongest point!
The chap who seems to be THE reference point is known on ddk as
210bhp, his name is Mike.
suggest you pose your question on the ’Pre 1974- Porsche 911 (long hood)‘ section and ask directly on there for Mike to respond.
Another is lightweight-911, another historical source of long standing Who May respond quicker than Mike. His name is Andy.

Thanks for that - I recognise the user names and I will post the question on DDK. Coincidently though, in the last few days, the early register have sent an invite to meet the archivist up at hq on sept 7th who should have the info as well. Interesting to get info from both sources
Cheers
Jim

Apologies ! It’s South African ! The COA states the selling Porsche Centre as South Africa. I’ll have to check with the register if they can access these records otherwise it could be a waste of time ! I have tried contacting Porsche SA but with no success. I’ll keep you posted.

The RHD build numbers for the 1971 911 2.2 T are relatively rare since most production was LHD. For exact figures, you might want to check the Porsche Production Specifications Book or contact Porsche Classic for detailed records. On the forum, look for discussions in the "Early 911" or "Classic Porsche" sections. They often have knowledgeable members who’ve researched production numbers. Good luck with your search!
