Replacement dash clock

Hi Guys

I seem to recall that someone in the past fitted an aftermarket clock in their 944 which fitted in the original window. I think it had extra features such as temp gauge?
Was it someone here and was it successful? my screen has collected some moisture and rather than spend a lot of money on a genuine replacement, I'm trying to find something cheaper that will not only blend in with the original look but also have more modern features.

Any ideas chaps?

Pete

cheers Martyn, I did see the repair kits, wanted something a bit more modern... I've taken a punt on a small digital clock face from China.. who knows if it will work but at only £3.83 I have little to lose.

this is true but getting it mounted without cocking up a expensive bit of plastic....................... that bit is £50 new

True, but I've found a clock who's screen size is very close to the original. It's about the same width and 10mm longer than the opening in the dash trim. Once I have it I'll see if can be wired to use the same buttons as on the original...just another pet project, won't happen for a while as I doubt it will get here anytime soon from China.
