Well things have been a bit quiet now many of us have put away our cars for the Winter. I have been beavering away on the website re re-design, this will be finished when I get some more time. So if you have any stories or articles then let me know.

Remember when the thread bemoaning the lack of 12's in the Post hit? Well I have been trying to rectify the situation and we should see a 12 on the cover next year. However, there has been absolutely no response to the request for images and stories :( ...
So if you have any great pics please please send 'em in.

The Champagne trip is on and Stuart and I will shortly be going to sort out the treasure hunt and some visits. So watch this space...

Any one fancy a Christmas drink up? Pub in Ye Olde East Ende seems to suit 50% of us... :)

Finally now putting some miles on my car, so if you don't believe it exists here is a pic taken on a run with Stuart last week.

Keep em driving...

Gavin,

Your cars looking great

How dose the car drive after the rebuild? Gearbox fell better?

Did you polish your wheels your self? I've been wondering whether the polish them or keep the black centers, what dose every else think on this?

The engine although not run in yet is a revalation... all will be truly discovered when I finally put some more miles on it... still no more than 4500rpm :(
Pulls and pulls... cruises at 70 @ 3500 no probs and has oodles more available I suspect, lots of low down grunt too, which is great for town, just have to hold back which is hard.

The gearbox is getting better all the time, lots of new parts in there too, so needs some more miles to settle down I think.

The wheels are 'bare' alloy not anodised so require constant polishing, if you go that route you need to take them off to do a proper job, if you leave them, expect to spend a full day getting them to this state....

Gav, you can use any of the pictures I have put on my website if you need them. I can let you have the original full size versions if you require those or there are any you want to use. Seems a bit pointless emailing them to you though when they are already posted on the web.
I probably have other stuff as well if you ned something specific.
