Register Rendezvous September 10th

As many already know there is to be a Register Rendezvous Event at Kedleston Hall on 10th September, now that the National Event is behind us the club office is ready to move on with this event and I will be attending a meeting at Cornbury House next week to discuss the event, plans etc.

While all organisers are arranged as far as I know, we will be in need of assistance on the day and maybe even the day before regarding certain things such as the pegging out of the register areas and then in telling the members where to find their register parking etc, since it is the early days of making the arrangements and I know very little so far, I can say that there is a Show and Shine Competition with a limited number of entrants, judges for this have been requested and an overall organiser for this part of the event, so far I am expecting that the area to the front of the house is to be used and the cars are to be parked alongside the drive at least that was the early plan but next week I'll find out the detail and may well find much has changed.

Anyone wishing to assist with the event please respond to this post and/or PM me through the forum.

Following the Kedleston event I received thank you messages from both the founder and organiser Ken Coad and Chris Seaward who manages Club Office and a great number of events for the club, the messages were not just for me but were for all of the regional members who helped out on the day guiding cars about and ensuring that things ran smoothly, it was a pity that the weather was against us on the day but those who attended appreciated your efforts nonetheless, just think, if it had been drier you would have been working even harder!

Thanks for everything!
