Register display at Brands Hatch

I need to start thinking about the cars we will be putting into the 944 Register display at Brands this year.

I have had some requests for places on the stand via the ticket booking forms which have been sent in, but none from any of the vehicles/people who are known to me.

So, if you would like to register your interest in being in the display, get your ticket applications in as soon as possible. It would probably be a good idea to respond on the forum or via e-mail to me if you're planning on going and want to display your car, so that I can build a matrix of who'll be there and when.

Note that I'll be trying to get a variety of cars into the display, so it's possible that some will be disappointed if we have, for example, ten S2s coupes all wanting to be in the display on the same day.

Hi Nick,

Beaky should be available (if you want him) as we are intending to be there for the full event. He quite likes sitting about talking to his mates and might be very, very shiny as I have this evening discovered the wonders of Auto Glym. [:)].

I'm not sure what category you would put him in but I guess he does have a degree of novelty value.

Either of mine can be there if needed as I can now definitely go [:D] No more nightshifts or Bank Holidays for me (well, once I've finished Mon-Wed night this week). In fact I might even be getting paid to be there as Chipsaway are planning a big stand and for some wierd reason they want me to be on it [&:]

Nick I'll contact you offline so we can start doing organising and things [8|]

OK guys, WUF and Beaky are in.

Paul, bring whichever you prefer, though I guess we'll be more lacking in S2s than Turbos if that helps with the decision

Saw your earlier e-mail Paul - I'll be in touch shortly re the arrangements.

regards to all

Happy to be told it's not what you're after but I'm thinking of attending this year and the track slag will be available. Since it's going to the paint shop in 2 weeks it should be pretty tidy, just not very standard.

If you are short of cars I will be there but mine is looking a little tatty around the sills and the bodywork is unlikely to be done by then. If there is some track activity it looks fine from a distance [;)]

Okay, I admit to doing the wrong thing and chucking out the fyer i the mag without reading it....

When is it? The fully restored 994T should be back up and running, and I have a ton of limited miles to use up[:D] Might even have time to make it reaaaally shiny!

Hi Paul, just what you guys need on your stand for the weekend...my gold lux...5 areas of rust bubbles, 6 dents, 4 envy/key scratch lines, 4 different shades of hand spray on bonnet, I bet you could restore the whole thing in 2 days, what a display! I will only charge you a nominal fee...hmmm
