Regional Meeting, 14th May

Hi folks,

The regional meeting for May will be on the 14th & is at Wilmslow Porsche Centre. Always a good event, which is well worth attending, with nice displays, good people to meet & the odd parts bargain to be had if you're lucky.

The meeting starts at 7 pm.

This year's theme for the annual PC Wilmslow visit is 'Boxsters through the years'. We're looking for members to display their boxsters in the showroom. Each will get a full valet before being put on display so you don't need to worry about cleaning it yourself that week [].

If you would like to volunteer your boxster (any age or derivative) for display, please let us know.

But I can't be without my car as I need it for work, will they offer an fully insured demo car for the day whilst they are doing the valet ?

Chris, give Mike Sims (sales) a call at PC Wilmslow to find out if he can do this for you.

it's usually the older stuff that they do sell cheaply as I found to my good fortune last year []

Thanks Steve for the contact name, I had to ring them three times to get to speak to Mike.
But he said that the Centre Principal Andrew was the man to speak to as he was organising the event, I will speak to him later this week.

Well it was Andrew that phoned me and said that Mike would be in charge of the showroom display! Anyway, when you phone Andrew tell him that you have already been in contact with me regarding the loan of your car to them for the boxster display. Hope you get some sense out of them []

I spoke to Andrew today, he says Mike is just about to find out he's going to be in charge of the showroom display...[]

Someone is going to contact me, a few days before the event to sort a possible loan car, but depends on how many people apply and what cars are available at the time.
