PCGB, Region 13, Hereford, Worcester & Shropshire
The Hadley Bowling Green Inn on the Last Tuesday of the Month.
Situated on Hadley Heath, near Ombersley. Post Code is WR9 0AR. This is a well- known country establishment, with a large, good car park and within easy reach and is usually well attended.
A good crowd, welcomed Steve Dolby from Michelin, who gave us a good talk on tyres and much information for our future selections. This all delivered in a relaxed atmosphere and surroundings, albeit with much concentration. See photo.
I was also pleased to welcome Richard and Rosemary Clark, who had travelled all the way from Newport, to join us. Well done and we hope to see you soon, it is a long way.
The Royal Oak, Much Marcle. Instead of The Trumpet, is our Herefordshire meeting place at present. You locals, please try and support this a little more, it is along way for us to go, to a handful of people.
21.
Never been twenty-one before and now he has the key of the door! Or rather, since Ragley Hall, last year.
David Mould, along with his father, Peter, are regular visitors to the Bowling Green Inn. Both owning Porsches. They did the right thing, by joining the Club first, finding out and then investing. They found this lovely 944 S2, on sale at Ragley and bought it after some advice and have been thrilled to bits ever since. Here is a picture of David, with his car. A sensible Porsche driver and probably a long term enthusiast in the making. Many Happy Returns, David and enjoy it.
Shelsley Walsh
This has been moved to Bank Holiday Monday, the 5th of May. We shall have our usual spot, which will be marked by our Region banners etc. As this is a Porsche Championship Event, I have also invited the Porsche Enthusiasts Club, so we should have a good crowd.
Curborough.
Thursday afternoon on the 8th May. Be there by noon, we have to finish at 6pm, latest . The cost will be £25.00 per car. You should get eight or so goes, so this is still very good value. There is a limit of 30 cars, I need your cheque now, made out to PCGB and endorsed on the back "Curborough"
Spectators are welcome, no cost. Hopefully the food wagon will be there as last year, at modest cost. Remember, we have to pay for the Track and I need to know there will be enough of you to cover the cost, hence up front payment.
Concours
On Tuesday the 24th June, I have advertised a "Show Night", as we had last year, with a good turn out. If you wish to change this to an official Regional Concours, then bombard me in your thousands and I will make arrangements. Otherwise, it will be Air-cooled against Water-cooled.
Forthcoming Events.
