On the off-chance, I need a really good Guards red bonnet within the next two weeks... anyone have one kicking around they might like to part with?

Oh dear Tref - this picture really was of you, wasn't it?

Thanks Ash, as I say, it is just on the off-chance, as I don't have time to get it sprayed in that time... Hmmm... The one Dave has pointed out I am hoping to go and have a look at later this week. The car is otherwise concours condition, and I am concerned about colour matching as well, so I suspect I am not going to have much luck, but, the forum turns up some wonderful things, and if you don't ask, you don't get!

Most breakers will have twenty stacked on end somewhere, unless theyve thrown them awaybecause no one buys them. Id expect to have my pick of the best reds for £20.

Most have thrown them out because no-one buys them... I think prices may be going upwards for that very reason... a couple of years ago you I would have agreed.

Fair enough mate. Iv used cotswold Porsche a few times and fromwhat I remember last time I was there I'm sure he had a red one out front ready to break

He also had this beauty

Do you still need a red bonnet? I have one that needs re-spraying that you can have? I'm based just outside Watford.

Thanks, but I have one bolted to the roof of the car this very minute!

Think I may have done something wrong there...[:D]

Hope this isn't for the car that's going to be displayed in front of 14,623 people in FIVE days time...
