Hi
Looking to backdate my forward dated racecar to 73 look again
Also It needs jigged to pull it back into shape

So ...not looking for concours gaps but am looking for someone who can properly jig the car possibly a race/rally shop

The car is currently in London . This string might decide whether it stays there for the change b4 coming across on the ferry .

Hi Sean
Thats really wierd
Chris at XS was who I had in mind if getting it done in the UK although its a bit of a trek from London
I met him when he and Steve Smith came to look at a previous 911 I had and he definately made an impression as a top guy with a great trackrecord with competition cars

although its a bit of a trek from London

Better then dragging it back across from the West though [;)]

A friend of mine has his 911 shell in there for a full back date and reinforced to Rally spec for the historics....their work appears to be top notch.

Sean

Have heard of Barry alright. I used John Keaney in Drumcondra for mechanical.

Bodyshop... (ie paint job / repairs) Johnny Bronte is one of the best around. Doesn't advertise (doesn't need to).. based in Portrane, Co. Dublin.

I use Barry for my 944. Had tried to get into John Keaney in the past on the basis of recommendations from numerous people but he told me they are over run with work as it is and don't take on new customers as they struggle to meet the needs of their current customer base!

I spoke to Gordon Kellet motors at one point too (had been told they know there way around the older Porsches) but was told I'd be looking at around €850 for a standard annual service so decided not to take them up on the offer!

Not too many options around unfortunately, particularly if you need someone within reasonable reach of Dublin.

Best person for the early 911's is Elgin Roberston in Derry. A bit of a trek ...but closer than England.
