Hi all, my name is Kevan and I am new to the forum.

I have a 996 Targa 2002 and the rear wiper is not working it looks like the pin from the top part has broken off. Does anyone know if this can be bought separately from having to buy the whole motor mechanism?IMG_0059.jpegIMG_0060.jpegIMG_0061.jpeg

It is a sprung pin, are you sure it has not just corroded in its non engaged position?
See photo of pin fully extended. I can push the pin back under spring tension until flush and it returns to the position shown.

Hi Martin, just to let you know. The pin was stuck, so I freed it up. But unfortunately it only popped out about 2mm so I'm guessing at some stage it has snapped the bottom half off. So thank you anyway as I have learned something I didn't know about the car.
