Rear wiper arm - daft question

Jim,

back from France and just remembered this.

I'm away on a Mission Motorsport event tomorrow and Friday, can post out your freeby adapter on Monday, I know exactly where it is in the garage. Probably.

I've found it!

It was exactly where I left it, at the bottom of the spare lightbulb box, under the rally navigator's box behind an old tombstone seat in the garage!

Ok chaps, here's the lowdown...

The item you need is called a Champion AK1. Photo below. My local Motorworld (Skipton) has got 7 left in stock at £2.99 each. They did originally buy 8... back in 2008 the lad said looking at the computer! The last person to buy one was....... me, just over a year ago!

Each pack comes with 2 adapters so if you have a local chum who needs to do his you can go halves. The adapter itself comprises two parts, the plastic adapter and a replacement metal side pin. See photo below (one side pin missing as I'd used it).

I haven't bothered to look whether you can buy them online but I guess eBay would be a good first start.

You can use ANY Champion wiper and the vast majority of others using the same fitment (Bosch etc.) - Mine is a Bosch so I definitely know those work too.

That's about it. Happy wiping (fnar.)
