Rear tyres needed

Hi

I need some new rears for my Boxster.

Can anyone recommend a good supplier and fitter in the South Birmingham / Warwickshire area?

I currently run Pirelli 255/40/ZR17 N2

I have used Silverline in Warwick due to the good service and prices.
Eclipse Tyre Services - Alcester (01789) 764033 were also recommended of late.
BMT in Birmingham and Coleshill fit tyres for one of the local OPC's.
Last time I looked for a price the OPC were very close on price... worryingly so [:eek:]

Morning,

I use Eclipse in Alcester as do several other members, very competitive and hard to beat on price. Excellent service as well and they also have a state of the art laser alignment machine.

Hi

I have used Trade Tyres (Birchbrook Industrial Estate, Shenstone. 01543 482048) this week. I rang at 4.00pm on Tuesday, and tyres were in stock by 9.30 next morning. They were £50 per tyre cheaper than other quotes and service was top notch.

I went to Eclipse this morning and they confirmed that they rears need to be replaced.

They quoted £275 fitted for the pair which was a pleasent surprise.

I go back to have them done next Saturday so will let you know how it goes.

Just to close this out, Eclipse told me it would take a couple of days to get the tyres, and then I had a call a few days later to say that they were on back order and would not arrive for two weeks. Checked today (nearly two weeks) and they now say they are still in production and have no idea when they will arrive.

Thus went to Solihull OPC who had them in stock and they fitted them for £301 all in - and washed the car!
