Rear subframe stabiliser?

Just idling on the internet a while ago and I noticed this:-

Which hooked my curiosity and resulted in more searching and a couple of phone calls. Further info here:-

Which resulted in me getting some 22mm aluminium bar and making one myself for £20.

Some pics would be good Chris. I've always thought that back-end arrangement looks a bit of a lash-up, despite the high torsional stiffness figures published by Porsche. But then putting a roof on the already stiff Boxster platform was bound to give this result. They could have taken some of the stiffness out of the chassis and achieved a lighter, but stiff unibody; cost/production considerations presumably meant that this was a non-starter. I wouldn't have thought that you'd notice the benefits of the stabiliser on the road though. Jeff
