rear sill repair.. any good places to look at for the repair.

The cab drains through 2 holes either side at the front corners under the boot lid. if you look you will find grommets there that will have dried out letting the water in, a common problem on them. Get a small bit of tigerseal or similar and seal them with that. Also check the petrol cap drain for the same thing,

will do.. All this is very fixable I have repaired alot worse

Dealing with old cars and needing to make them as good as they left the factory for their value any repair as to match that.

I have a new welder now that is the dogs nuts!! compaired to my old one I used on this job you see.. above.

So will be even better with a timer spot weld the lot !! £800 machine it's a boys dream!!
 
Looking at the standard of your welding on your 912 I dont think you will have any problems fixing the hole in the cab.Easy fix for you.Photo's as you go would be nice or even just a finnished photo.
