Rear dog covers

Hello

I've been searching the forum for recommendations and all appear to have been posted and responded too many years ago.

Has anyone got any recommendations please?

I have spent along time looking online and all offerings appear to be far too large for the 992.

I am specifically looking for covers that extend to the sides as well as the rear seating areas.

Would really appreciate help, else will be reverting to my old car when needing to take my Cockapoo on trips :(.

Thanks in anticipation (from me and Windsor)

Have a look at this thread….. they suggest Over The Top Covers…… I know the person who posted this, and were quite pleased.

Don't do it! Don't let pooch anywhere near your 911. If you must for short journeys, put him on the passenger floor - he won't mind a bit.
Otherwise, you've rather answered your own question above! 😄

Clive

Clive, with the right covers he will be fine in the rear, he's too big to go on the passenger floor (even with seat back) and would not be happy. From your reply I suspect you haven't a pooch 😄

Can definitely recommend the over the top covers, we have a cockapoo and they work really well.
we keep them on the seats when we go away on trips without the dog and put luggage in the back. They are a custom fit for the 992 and have cut outs for the seat belts. Over the top used our car to template the covers in 2022 and did us a special price. They took some photos but I have never seen these on the web site. I have a photo if you want to PM me.

I was slightly tongue in cheek hence the emoji but indeed I do own a pooch, Max 🐕 he's a lovely lad, but I still wouldn't let him anywhere near a sports car. However he does enjoy a ride in the boot of the Macan - with an appropriate cover fitted, of course!.

BTW if riding on the back seat in the cabin, you'll need to convince the authorities the animal is adequately restrained/tethered and incapable of being thrown forward in the event of a RTA. A secured crate is one solution.
