Rear demister blowing a fuse

Help needed!

Every time I switch on the heated rear screen it blows the fuse.

Has anybody got any advice before I start ripping out ( gently removing ) all the trim etc.
 
Take a quick look at the small flexible wires that attach between the HRW and the tailgate shocks. They get very brittle and corroded over time. New wires and spade connectors on mine stopped my fuse blowing [:)]
