Most people don't realise how disliked cages are by insurance companies - maybe because they didn't see it as a performance mod and didn't mention it to the broker, or the broker didn't realise the significance and failed to mention it to the underwriters. After all, who'd think insurers would be so unhappy? My only advice is to check with your insurer if you are worried. Many will often allow it retrospectively out of goodwill (Footman James did this for an existing customer even though I was refused as new business).
The Heigo one sounds lovely. Des has got me thinking about a cage again, the naughty chap.

Anyone of you guys know if I can still buy a new rear cage for the RS?
Heigo or Matter for example are names that have been banded around or is the factory option jobbie still available?
Dont want to weld it in just bolt it to existing holes.
