Rear bumper rubber coming away

Hi,

I am hoping that there is an easy fix.

The rubber bumper strip is coming away since the metal holding the bolt has rusted and weaken over time.

Is there a fix to this, such as removing the offending bolt and replacing it with a t-bolt or equivalen?

A new replacement is circa £200 and I’d rather put that towa something mechanical rather than cosmetic

Thanks
Spence

Heresy I know, but some of us have successfully used Tiger Seal to re attach the hockey sticks (which also have impossibly complex fasteners). A friend glued the end of his Mercedes rear bumper back on, and it remains in place after over a year!

A lot of trim on modern cars is glued on...

OPC Hull supplied trim and clips for under £120 after discount, do it once and do it right. :)
