Re: R3 Post Christmas Knees Up January 7th 2023.

Thanks Paul I've added you both to the list, promises to be another brilliant R3 evening it's really starting to fill up nicely now think there is going to be a few dissapointed people if they don't get booked up soon.

Hi Greg,

Add me to the list. Regrettably, Willis unable to make it as she has a prior engagement and sends her apologies.

Randall

Thanks Randall, shame Willis has something already booked but not a problem, I'm sure there will be plenty of other chances to catch up soon.

I know R3 members love nothing better than a good old knees up, so Deb & I have taken a cue from Philip and have made a few enquiries today. After looking at a few options we think Redworth Hall & Spa near Newton Aycliffe is the best option, not only does it offer great value, but because of it's location, as last years “do” was further North at Beamish.

Once again, we have been offered exclusive use of the Great Hall, 3 course Christmas Dinner + drinks on arrival and to round it all off, you have the chance to let your hair down and dance the night away with our exclusive R3 disco, all for a very reasonable £33.00 per head.

We have negotiated a privileged room rate at a reduced price of £119 for Bed & Breakfast double/twin occupancy or £109 BB for single occupancy, however don't forget to check your preferred hotel booking sites as they also tend to offer some great deals.

At the moment this thread is to gauge interest only, so if you’re interested add your name so we have a better idea of potential numbers however please note we will only have around 60 spaces available, so places are sure to fill up fast and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

While money for your rooms can be booked and paid directly to the hotel, quoting Porsche Club Party Night, all meals must be paid to me via bank transfer create a paper trail so I know who has paid.

A booking form will be added to this post over the next few weeks, allowing you to add your food choices. It must be filled in no later than December 12th don't forget to either subscribe to this thread or remember to watch this space for any updates.

Please see here for menu and booking form info.

Thank you everyone who has reserved their place for the R3 Post Christmas Party, it certainly promises to be not just a great way to start the New Year but also a cracking way to kick start your R3 2023 season.

Dress code is smart casual, although I know a few have already expressed they want to come in black tie and dinner jackets, but note this is not a requirement please come in whatever you feel most comfortable in.

See you all at Redworth Hall on January 7th.

From Vickie:

And here was me thinking the men were all going to be in dicky bows!!!

Are the women dressing up or just keeping this casual? Don't want to turn up looking like a complete wombat!

Hi Vickie please feel free to wear whatever you're most comfortable in. I know some are extremely keen to wear their Sunday best, however equally some people prefer to enjoy a more relaxed evening. There is no right or wrong answer here, just do what’s right for you, whatever you decide, the important part is to have fun, let your hair down and have a fab evening.

[:)] Fantastic night. Thank you Gred n Deb for the organising of anther brilliant night.

Hope everyone has recovered and we will do your best to hook up again soon.

Mark & Sally.
