re-mapping / rolling road tuning

hi , I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere in n.ireland that could tune/remap an EFI converted 930 turbo ?

also i just picked up a HKS evc IV boost controller , anyone got any tips on fitting this to a 930 ?

also will be fitting a turbo timer in near future so if anyone else has fitted one to the 930 recently please let me know who you got on [sm=spanner5.gif]

whats the max boost anyone is running on their 930 ?

dunno what my CR is yet , just learning the ropes on this car at the mo ! , wot sorta boost vs CR are some guys running ?

I was wandering around YouTube the other day and stumbled across Eddie Bello's latest Porsche.. A 'slightly modified' white 964 turbo..

1200+ WHEEL Horsepower at 30PSI (~2.0 Bar)!.. 229MPH in a standing mile!

I think we've got a little way to go catch him. (Thing is, he drove it from New York to Texas - couple of thousand miles, round trip - did the speed and then drove it home again... So it wasn't even knife-edge tuning that would self destruct within a few feet... I'd love to know how he's done it!)
 
Yeah hehe, it just doesn't even seem possible.

From what I've heard (OK, read) he is not using anything too special either. A bit like Juan Ruiz and his carrera.

It would be nice to know his CR & ignition timing at that boost level!
 
Funny, I kinda tried to put those 2 guys in touch with each other. (Not sure they ever met up - I thought I heard that Ruiz sold his beloved Carrera at some point?)

Errata: Sorry, was only a 'mere' 219mph that he did - plans to go back next year and do 231mph, though ;)
