rare paint colours

I'm trying to get hold of some Amazon Green metallic paint (39A).

My OPC has tracked down a touch up stick but is there anywhere I could get some more to paint some brake ducts?
The OPC could mix some up especially but that gets a bit pricey
Are there any other cheaper options?

sorry for the barrage of questions but I keep getting very helpful answers!

Try http://www.paintscratch.com in the US. They list it for Porsche in 1991 and they can supply cans or touch-up.

Not if you want MG Trophy Yellow!!! Colour code "FAR". Not on our computer Sir!!!
 
Halfords did a very acceptable Alpine White for me, and a fair stab at Tahoe Blue too. They are not expensive, and will do either an earosol or a little bottle. Alternatively try any autopaint suppliers, try the yellow pages.

This is only a thought, but will companies like chipsaway spray them to match for you? Didn't Phil Raby get them to respray the bumper of his LHD Amazon Green C4 after a 'run-in' with a jag in an edition of 911&PW. From what I remember they did a damn good job too. It may be beyond their remit though (but they might give you a paint code).

Cheers Phil - Porscheshop sorted me out instantly.

The Aerosol is £ 23.21 including vat & delivery and only takes a couple of
days.

That's when it suddenly ends up a very expensive job as you respray the car to match the touch-up [:D] [:D]

I know, why not have a trial on some small parts - like brake ducts (personal joke, know one else will follow it, don't worry !)
