R7 Summer Drive - 22nd July - Sold Out

Mark Jessop/Chris Smith,

Are you able to tell me a place time on route from PC Leeds given I am more towards the direction of the drive nr Emley moor? are you heading to holmfirth first maybe via hudds or brighouse?

Also some advice on the Oil Can which I went to on Sunday. The place is still suffering teething issues and this Sunday after 30 mins opening, had queues outside the door. the parking is much less and the wait for food was 40 mins plus! TIPEC yorks were there and I know it didn't go smooth despite them only being 12 people.....

As we also live in the Huddersfield / Holmfirth area we plan to meet up with the rest of the group at the Oil Can Cafe. We will leave home about 12.00 and get there by 12.30 which, we are guessing, should give the rest of the group time to travel there from PC Leeds.

Hi Guys

Very many thanks for turning up for the drive. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as Dee and I did setting it up.

It was great to see you all.

Will return the Flying banana tomorrow and hopefully get my old machine back.

all the best

Chris and Dee

Grateful thanks to Chris and Delia for organising the drive out and lunch yesterday. We appreciate it's quite a responsibility planning the route and venues for such an event so very well done and thanks to you both. Was great to have a drive and spend time in the company of good friends.

A big thank you to Chris and Delia for a great day out.

Really enjoyed the route and the venues, and of course all the great friends , new and old.
