Just had a quick look at this. Hopefully it wont impact on us depending on what time the roads close.

Here is a quick link for your info with route map and timings.

Hoped to join you tomorrow guys but I've been informed that i have other plans by senior management!

Have a great run, a work colleague was @ Slayley esrlier in the week and asked me why there would he so many Porsche's parked there so R6 must have a decent turnout

Sorry for the slow reply.

Here's the route that R6 have planned.

We will be politely following R6's convoy rules of no overtaking.

Once at the Black Swan, R6 cars will be pulling into the car park, we will continue on to the Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes, DL8 3RN.

Thanks for that, Greg. Unfortunately, it was just a bit too late and I was involved in 'vital' jobs (like cutting the grass before it rains!).

I'm very sorry I couldn't make it and hope you all had a good run. It sounded like an excellent route and pleasant weather.

Actually, I am doubly sorry I couldn't make it as I've put my Cayman on the market (https://www.porscheclubgb.com/car-sales/sell-a-porsche/sellers/a872266c-a4a6-4579-ab45-0d9da09b0e20/cayman-(981)-24v-0 ) and would have liked to 'put it out there' - you never know!

Looking forward to the next run out!

Gordon.

Lovely run out today topped of with an enjoyable lunch with friends and blast over Butter Tubs. Thanks to all who joined in the fun with R6.

Have a great week - Philip & Jacquie

Great run out today with R6and R3, good to meet friends and new acquaintances . Only had coffee at Hawes then a blast over Buttertubs and call into the Tan Hill Inn before driving home, just caught the end of cycle race and followed cyclists and police doing around 45mph!!

Vickie and I had a great day today, fantastic route and great company. lunch at Wensleydale Creamery was spot-on too!

didnt really get chance to meet any of our fellow enthusiasts from R6 but I hope you all got back safely and enjoyed some of the great scenery and roads we have in our doorstep!

.......and a good time was had by all ! Great run from Kirkby Stephen to Hawes.....thanks once again to everyone who was involved with the organisation. Cheers !

Thanks again to everyone who managed to fit this in and trusted us enough just to go with the flow.

I appreciate the details where a bit vague but I was keen not to try to influence or interfere with the plans that Region 6 had already made, after all it was their event, not ours.

As always we needn't have worried everyone had a great time, the weather played ball and after saying our goodbyes to R6 we had a fantastic meal at the Wensleydale Creamery before an invigorating drive back via Buttertubs.

Roll on next weekend, already looking forward to our run to meet up with Region 22 at Kendal.

Was 1/2 expecting to see you all on the A66 as i headed over the pennines later in the day...my original idea had been to join the run then head onwards on my journey after the run as I’d be heading in the right direction... alas senior management had other plans!

Glad everyone had a good day.

Fantastic day yesterday, its what Sundays were made for...... Porsches, good company, good food and not forgetting the fantastic roads we have on our doorstep..... Think I need to explore the roads around Hawes a bit more.

Hopefully see you all at the weekend

Andy and Angela
