Hi folks, thought I would post this, now that I have spoken to members tonight at our first meeting of 2010.
Due to a change in my personal circumstances I have given notice to our regional director Chris Clark that I have stood down from the official position as regional organiser to the north east. The main reason for this is that I am not going to have the ability or the time, and the commitment, for this year especially because of my changes and I don't want to struggle through the year only to find its too much, by which time things are half organised for the year and I'm in a position where I and therefore the club are dropped in the muck!!
I'm not leaving the club, my hope is that between myself and the regular members who naturally help out through the year anyway that we can muddle through this year, keep it together, by which time I will hopefully be better placed to take hold of the reigns again.
For a start Ashley Wayman has said he will step forward and assist me in anyway he can as has Neill Hastie, many of you out there will know both lads are regulars and have always given me massive support and this will be a great help.
So its not goodbye, far from it, but just a note to explain some changes in the hope that 2010 won't be affected to badly and we can keep our region up there where it deserves to be.
Thanks to all of you for your support.
