R3 & R22 Drive & Lunch. Sunday 21st July.

Just a quick word about the roads to hartside from Alston, the road half way up to the cafe and half way down has just been resurfaced with the grey clippings finish. We were at the lakes last week and it was 15mph maximum speed. Hope this helps.

Just about to leave my overnight in Telford...ETA to Kirkby Stephen approx. 3hrs...what the runs ETA? is it worthwhile we trying to stop off for a coffee/soda or do i just need to keep an eye open for you heading South as I go North?

Looking at the timings I think I'll arrive from Telford just in time to meet only to then drive back to where I'd normally pull off the M6.

I'll be driving thru Kirkby Stephen to join the A66 on the way back up to the event @NE Karting (@2:30) happy to meet up with the group there and maybe grab a coffee and join those driving back if timings work (….and I can find you all?)
Hi Simon - there are people who know better than me but as no other reply yet: you are likely to be a bit early. I was given an eta at KS of 3.00.

Thanks again Andy & Julie for organising this. Deb & I had a great time just following everyone else at the back and taking in the scenery. Well done for stepping up and giving it a go, we are already looking forward to your next adventure.

A good day my first trip out an interesting drive and great to meet interesting people and a good lunch.

Many Thanks

John

Thank you to everybody involved organising the R3 and R22 Drive and Sunday lunch event. Both Michelle and myself loved the day and meeting all of the members. The lunch was fantastic and well received.

Oh and I am so sorry for leading cars in the wrong direction from Hexham but it did add an interesting twist to the start [;)]
