R18 Photographic Competition

Some of our newer R18 members may not know we run an annual R18 Photographic Competition each year with the winning entries being made up into a calendar. Judging is carried out by Sean Conboy, a R18 member, and international famous professional photographer. Sean has put a few simple tips together to help us all take better photographs, as below:-

Look for uncluttered and interesting backdrops to set your car against .

Try different angles of light onto your car back side light , etc.

Let the car breathe in shots of the whole car allow some space around your car

Look for close up interesting details on your car.

Try to catch moments of club life featuring cars and members enjoying club events.

Try different camera heights low and high to shoot pictures of your car.
